Safety at Starty Arty
At Starty Arty, the safety and well-being of every child is our highest priority. During our workshops, children will engage with a variety of materials, including scissors, glue, paint, pens, acrylic pens, and other crafting supplies. To ensure safe and responsible use, each tool will be introduced with clear, age-appropriate instructions. All sessions are carefully supervised by an experienced art teacher, creating a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for every child to explore their creativity.
To maintain a fun and positive atmosphere, we encourage all participants to follow our three simple house rules:
-
Be Safe – Safety comes first. This means following instructions when using tools and materials, staying mindful of your surroundings, and letting an adult know if something feels unsafe. By being cautious and responsible, we make sure everyone can enjoy the activities without worry.
-
Be Kind and Respectful – At Starty Arty, we value kindness and respect. This includes treating fellow participants with care, respecting each other’s creations, and using the materials and workspace thoughtfully. A respectful environment ensures that everyone feels valued, included, and supported.
-
Be Your Best Self – Every child is unique, and we celebrate their individual creativity. We encourage children to try their best, embrace challenges, and express themselves fully. By approaching each activity with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, children can build confidence while having fun.
These guiding principles not only create a safe and enjoyable space but also help children develop important life skills, such as teamwork, respect, and self-expression. Together, we aim to foster a creative environment where every child feels inspired, empowered, and excited to explore their artistic potential.
